Welcome to a new philosophy about sharing knowledge
A good place to start, if you want to know what I am on about, is to watch these two videos: To add to what these gentleman have said, by sharing information we make a better community of DJ's, which raises expectations for what a DJ in this community can be.
There is a lot we can learn from each other, that we can all benefit from. Many of us might be concerned about giving out information about some "secret edge" we might have, but really, the only "secret edge" we have, is our own personality and style. No one can effectively steal that, no one can steal your personality, or the way you like to do things. I personally have some very useful knowledge and ability in several areas, and I am going to willingly share what I know on my own page, which can be found here:
By sharing information, we will all become better DJ's, and will be able to provide a better service. I would like to help in that effort, and I am sure that I could learn a lot from other DJ's in the community :)
I also want to make sure the new and inexperienced DJ's out there know they are welcome :) You will find that there are DJ's as young as 15 years old in the Youtube community that follows these two guys below.
